Each guitar is set up, tested, played, and signed by Ken Melhus and Terry Martin to assure a great playing instrument. Guitars include a Birth Certificate with the date and details of the final creation. Walla Walla Guitar Company builds one-of-a-kind instruments that blend artistry, individuality, and performance. Their Cougar, Maverick, and Seeker guitars—as well as corresponding basses—are handcrafted using vintage woods, custom graphics, skins, and unique materials, ensuring each piece is visually distinctive and sonically rich. Featuring chambered bodies for exceptional lightness (typically 5–7 pounds for guitars, under 8 for basses), these instruments deliver impressive acoustic volume and tone. WWGC’s signature Speed Necks, crafted from Canadian Maple with a Tru-Oil finish, offer effortless playability. Designed for musicians seeking instruments as unique as they are, WWGC also offers full customization, creating guitars and basses that feel like an extension of the player.

Maverick Guitars by Walla Walla Guitar Company are crafted from premium materials to create truly unique instruments. They feature custom-made bridges, pickups, and hardware, with fully chambered bodies for excellent acoustic volume and a Sound Tunnel Port that directs sound to the player. Finished with hand-rubbed Tru-Oil, the guitars highlight the natural beauty and resonance of the wood. The Comfort Neck, made from Canadian Maple with a soft V profile, ensures smooth playability. Maverick models include Vintage Wood guitars made from reclaimed century-old timber, Crystal Tops with embedded real objects, Laser-etched flame or quilted maple tops, Skins with authentic materials like cowhide and denim, and Exotic Hardwood guitars using pistachio, redwood burl, and more.

Walla Walla Guitar Company’s Maverick Crystal Top series features some of their most artistic and customizable electric guitars, each crafted as a unique expression of the player. These guitars showcase WWGC’s signature Crystal Tops—3D surfaces embedding real items like cards, coins, and keys into clear, durable resin. Built with a chambered basswood body (under 3 kg) for lightweight comfort and tone, they include Canadian Maple Speed Necks with a soft V profile, compound radius, and smooth Tru-Oil finish. Players can choose striking designs like the DOTD Girls, Red Lady 320, and Boop B, or collaborate with WWGC to create a custom top. Some models even support interchangeable tops for added versatility.
